Book Review – The Power of Moments

We often read a lot of books in our personal time and we wanted to share a great book that was recently read. The Power of Moments: Why Certain Experiences Have Extraordinary Impact by Chip and Dan Heath. These same best selling authors of Made to Stick and Switch created a masterpiece about how to look at life with a very different lens.

I first became aware of Dan Heath at an NAPFA advisor conference several years ago. His hour-long keynote was far better than any other session I have attended at a conference. The entire room of several hundred advisors was captivated and they hung on to his every word. Because of this, I was excited to find the Power of Moments release at the end of 2017.

The book did not disappoint. Well written and succinct, the book’s premise is to help create more moments in your life that you will remember. It is easy to remember everything about a wedding day, a graduation or a special vacation/celebration. It is difficult to remember last Thursday. What can you do for yourself and others that really creates moments that will last a lifetime?

I hope you enjoy the reading recommendation and I would love to hear your feedback about the book.
